Ok, my name is Gilles Mehlinger and I live in Luxembourg, Europe.I am a graphic designer and I work at a major local newspaper in Luxembourg. Allthough I am currently not assigned to the graphics department. Instead I am responisble for the back office of the e-paper. I really prefer working in a creative way, but in times like these, one should be happy to have a job after all, I guess.Anway, I am married to a wonderful lebanese girl, with whom I have a son and with whom I am complete in my life. You can check her web out at www.carolinejawlakh.com.I am a very complicated person on the inside. Outside I am a very easygoing person who tries his best to survive in the social jungle.

I am very drawn towards the Middle-Ages and everything that encompasses this period. I feel like my soul has been already in the Middle-Ages, or better yet to the era of the Celts. I cannot explain why else my whole thinking and my deepsest dreams revolve around these times. I have a very open mind concering mysterious stuff, like Tarot cards, Runes and other divination tools. I own a rather large collection of Tarot cards and believe it or nor, everytime I draw the first card, the Fool comes up... everytime. Is this a sign? Who knows, at least I see something positive in it. It might sound wierd or crazy, but if you believe in stuff like that it makes perfect sense.

I am also very interested in Fantasy literature. Not only do several copies of The Lord of the Rings ornate my library, but also the complete work of R.A. Salvatore's Dark Elf Edition. Some other fantasy work are also work looking into. You will find more information in my Interests page.

Another thing about me... If you really like to know me, you have to travel back about 500-1000 years. Then, you might be able to see things through my eyes. I believe in things that I don't like to share in public. You would most certainly call me crazy or a Fool.

There are three things in my life that are most important:

First and foremost, my family and my son. When I say 'My Family' it means all of them, my lebanese family as well. My brother in law, Toni has a wonderful family and his son and I a very close, even though we cannot see each other all the time. His daughter, Fabienne is my Teammate. When I am with them we play lots of video games and we are Team Bebars, and we beat all and everything together. So, family is the most important for me.

Second, my health. In the past I had some really tough times and I was close to doing something very stupid. Thanks god, my parents and friends stood by me and helped me through this very difficult time. From that moment on, my health is very important to me. Nothing, can stop me from taking care of my self.

Third and last, 'Freedom'. I have the chance to live in a country that hasn't see wars or conflicts in over 60 years. Since I am married to a lebanese girl, I am also affected by what is going on in the Middle-East. Every day I am thankful that I can enjoy the freedom, that so many people, all around the world can only dream of. I would like to say here, that freedom is the only thing that stupid politicians can destroy. So, my advice... Take you pride and your courage in your onw hands. Don't follow anyone who claims to be the best person to rule. Be yourself, make up your ideas for your self. And most important, politics and religion do not work together. Live your life as you like, without anyone dictating what to do an how to do it.
